Historical Commission

General Responsibilities and Duties

The Historical Commission is responsible for identifying, recording and preserving the historic assets of the town. It cooperates with other municipal agencies and groups to insure historic preservation in developmental planning. It serves as the liaison between local, state and federal agencies and preservation organizations.
